ゴルフの練習に行ったボーイズ

上の子はクラブを変えてだいぶ安定し

飛距離も本人が納得出来るものになってきました。

ヘッドスピードがどのくらいか計ってみると。。。。

Boys went to practice golf, of course....

Older boy satisfied his carry after changing his clubs.

Daddy checked his club head speed.

秒速50.4メーター

これにはダディもびっくり

シャフトも重く固い物に変え、このスピードはプロ並みだと。

50 meter per second.

This result is very good, though older boy uses heavy and hard shaft.

like a pro......

上の子の速度を時速マイルに換算すると113.6

PGAの平均は112だそうです。
そして著名なPGAプレイヤーと比較しても

昨年度Fedex Cupで１位になったSnedekerの平均を上回っています。すごい！

久しぶりに家族で映画を見に行きました。「GI Joe Retaliation 」

一作目同様、勧善懲悪ヒーロー物、とにかく派手に物が破壊されます。

The family went to the movie "GI Joe: Retaliation"

Anyway, the stuff of this movie must like destruction scenes

パリの街を破壊してみた一作目。今回はロンドンです。

でもこんなすごい事が起きたのに

世界のリーダーから緊迫した様子はあまり感じなかったかな〜
ショックが大きすぎて？でしょうか。

In the previous movie, Pari was destroyed,

they collapsed London this time.

However, the leader of the world didn't seem shock very much....

９分にも及ぶヒマラヤの断崖での忍者戦闘シーンは面白かった。

でも日本人の目からだと、未だにハリウッドでの”日本”って”中国??”です。。。

A nine-minute action scene featuring ninjas fighting on the side of the Himalayas 

is an extreme-action experience that is a definite highlight of the film.

そして、一作目同様これも次回作に続く。。。ですよね〜

コブラの親玉逃げって行ったし。。。そして、第二のストームシャドー？？？

だってーもう一人いたでしょ？ウォーターシリンダーに

一瞬写った目元はあの人だったと思うけど。

 次回作Resurrection だったら笑う。。。。

This movie will continue.....because

the leader of Cobra escaped......and

maybe,  the second Storm shadow will appear .

Mommy didn't miss the eyes, that came out for an instant, of unidentified man in the water cylinder.

環境問題、収集問題 think green

カリフォルニアはフロリダに比べると遥かに環境意識が高いと思います。

買い物に行くときは必ずショッピングバッグは持参。

必要なときは10セントで紙袋を購入しなければなりません。

プラスティックバッグは廃止されています。

こちらに来た頃はついバッグを持ち歩くのを忘れ

何度も購入し溜まった紙袋たち。。。。

California is more green-minded than Florida.

People need their shopping bag, shop doesn't provide plastic bags.

At first, mommy sometimes forgot to bring her own shopping bags,

and she bought paper bag for 10 cents every time .

袋がなければ食料品、洋服、靴、文法具と何でも

お金を払ってそのまま持ってお店を出てかまわないのですが

最初は未払いの様で抵抗がありました。

最近は慣れましたけどね。

If you don't have bag, and don't care bringing the products that you purchased 

without bag, it's no problem to bring it.

ゴミの収集は週一回

しかも、一般ゴミのゴミ箱が小さい。。。。。

大きい方がリサイクル用。（これがアメリカでは普通サイズだとずっと思ってました）

それだけ、リサイクルする物が沢山あるでしょ！って事なんだと思いますが。。。

Collection of garbage is only once a week.

In addition, trash bin is small...

Big bin is for recycling.

カリフォルニアではCRVというリサイクルできる飲料容器にかかるtax があります。

飲料メーカーはアルミニウムやガラス瓶などの購入に対してCRVを払います。

卸売り、小売り業者は、この広告やレシートのようにCRVは外税として明記。

これらの空き缶や空き瓶はリサイクルセンターに持って行くと

誰でも同一金額を返してもらう事が出来ます。

（今のところ２４オンス以下が5セント、それ以上が10セント）

ゴミの収集は雑な上、黒いゴミ箱は小さく安定も悪いので

収集された後はいつもこの通り。。。。

お隣のお宅の前に転がっています。(- -;)

環境意識の向上とともに

収集意識も向上してもらいたい物です。。。

今日のボーイズのゴルフの試合は

南に28マイル行ったGilroy にあるEagle Point CC

Boys went to Eagle point CC, in Gilroy.

こちらも山間にあるメンバーコースで難しそうです。

This looks so tough.

そしてやはりコース脇にはビッグなお宅が並び

ビッグな家にはビッグなワンコが走り回って

レアを見て吠えていました。。。。

There are big houses beside on the course.

BIg dogs which live in the big house, watched Lea and barked.

今までの試合の中で一番難しかった。。。と上がってきたボーイズ

チーム内上の子は２位、下の子は３位と検討したようですが

チームは負けてしまったそう。残念！

Boys said this course was the most tough course.

Older boy was second and younger boy was third place of the team.

but the team lost today.

Tough!

終わらなかった not over...

下の子の歯列矯正

今日リテイナーを受け取りに行きました。

てっきりマウスピースのような物だと思っていたのですが

実際は、こんな金具。

Younger boy visited orthodontist and got his retainer.

He thought that a retainer was a thing such as the mouthpieces..... mommy thought so, too.

However,  like this.

しかもブレスとは違い、口の中に装着するため、かなり不快らしい。。。

ちゃんと話が出来ない〜つばが沢山出てくる〜とよだれを垂らしておりました。

しかも、食事と歯磨きの時以外はずっと装着する事ーーーあと半年！

歯列矯正はまだまだ終わっていませんでした。。。。

He said it is so annoying.

"I cannot speak properly, Saliva comes out .....uuuu"

He must put it on all day, except meal and toothbrushing......half year more!!

It was not over.

マミィはボーイズの送り迎えの途中で藤の花を見かけました。

Mommy found this wisteria flower today.

ダディの実家の近くにある公園は沢山の藤棚があり

４月下旬頃に藤まつりがあります。

レアも遊びに行ったときにお散歩したっけ。

Lea remembered the park where a lot of wisteria bloomed, 

in the daddy's home town.

She used to go for a walk there.

まだまだお花の季節も終わらない。

The season of flower is not over.....

終わりました。 done

２年間続けた下の子の歯列矯正。

ついに、外す事が出来ました。

Finally, braces which younger boy had kept for two years, were taken off.

暫くはきちんとリテイナーを装着し

奇麗な歯並びを保って下さいねー

After that, he has to put retainer on for a while.

昨日、悪天候で延期されたPGA

アーノルドパーマーインビテーショナルの最終日が行われ

タイガーウッズが同一大会８勝目、今期３勝目をあげ

2010年10月以来、長いブランクの後

世界ランキング１位になりました。

and returned to No. 1 in the world for the first time since October 2010, 

the longest spell of his career.

レアが応援しているリッキーもロングパットを決め

ぐいぐいと追い上げたのですが

Rickie Fowler who Lea is cheerleading, made birdie putts

and closed to within two strokes.

２打差に詰め寄った１６番ホール

ティーショットでリッキーはフェアウェイ、タイガーはバンカーという絶好のチャンス！

ところが、2打目を左に外し、池に入れてしまったリッキー

そして5打目も続けて池に。。。。ノ〜〜〜

池に入れた後、自分の腕をがぶっと噛んでいたリッキー

トリプルボギーとなり通算８アンダーの３位タイとなりました。

Rickie hits two shots in the water on the par-5 16th hole and would card a triple bogey.

He frustrated himself and bite his arm.

レア家のゴルフボーイズは、今日は練習ラウンド。

昨日、練習態度が悪くてダディに活を入れられ、ちょっと気合いが入ったかな？

上の子は２オーバーであがってきました。

反省、改善、忍耐。。。。色々学んで下さい。

先着１００名に一年間ブレッドを無料配布というニュースが流れていました。

Yesterday morning, Lea hard the news that new Boudin restaurant open at Cupertino,

and The first 100 customers in line will get a loaf of free bread for a year.

サンフランシスコ名物料理と言えば、

このサワードウブレッドに入ったクラムチャウダーを思い浮かべるかと。。。

Talking of the local food of San Francisco, 

the first food people must think is bread bowl cram chowder.

Boudin bakery は１８４９年創業の老舗

フィッシャーマンズワーフの店舗にはミュージアムもあります。

Boudin bakery was established in 1849.

There is a museum at fisherman's wharf.

ブレッド生地はゴールドラッシュ時代からずっと

奥さんと毎日大切に管理してると話していたシェフ。

オープン直前の店の前でズンバをノリノリで踊っていました。

The bakery still uses the same starter yeast-bacteria culture
